Reflection of “Ice Garden Flier”
This flier was created for the Night Circus project, to advertise our tents. My group’s tent, the Ice Garden, was fairly easy to make a flier for, as all we had to do was choose images that looked like ice and flowers that looked frozen. Although we worked together, I was mainly the one putting the flier together, and I made the effects for the image work. Even so, I’m still happy with how it looks and how it works with the Ice Garden.
One standard that was used while creating the flier was ELAGSE9-10RL7, which is to “analyze the representation of a...key scene in [a] different artistic medium”. The Ice Garden was a key element throughout the story of The Night Circus, as it allowed the relationship between Marco and Celia to continue to grow. In the text on the flier, I also “[demonstrated] command of the conventions of standard English grammar...when writing”, as I was the one who wrote the paragraph found on the flier.
